Merry Christmas!

Today, I have the pleasure of introducing you to my latest Love Bud doll (whom I lovingly refer to as "Lizzie" - "Angelica" just wasn't right, and I couldn't call her "Elizabeth," because it seemed a bit too serious!)
This happy-go-lucky sweetheart is sporting another original Madison dress creation with matching ballet flats and a fun multi-colored ponytail.  She measures 14 inches tall and has no choking hazard pieces.  She is also stuffed in such a way that she can stand when placed against a wall.  As you can tell from the position of her arms, she is joyful and very excited to meet her new family, hug her new best friend, and find out her new name.  She says she will be so happy with whatever name her new family chooses!

Three adorable Lovebuds waiting for appreciative families!

UPDATE: The first two stuffies in this post are no longer available, but the doll is still available for a discounted price of $5!

I decided to try a little experiment with some super cute stuffies I had.  Instead of taking all the time to make the doll itself, I just made the clothing and accessories.  I made them up by myself from scratch, and it was fun!  And much quicker - so I can sell them for less, too.

Have a Lovebud of your own that needs a wardrobe? I will happily custom-fit some clothes for them!

"Prissy" Poodle is modeling the latest fashions from PoodleMania for you, and appreciates your interest! All accessories are removable - the skirt is a little tough, I might have made it a little tight, but it will come off. The purse does not open - sorry about that! You can't see it from the picture, but the hat has a blue band going around it. Like the doll, I made all the accessories from scratch.

"Boochie" Bear is 11 inches from hat to toe, and ready for work. His hat is removable and very easy to take on and off.

This girlie is 13 inches from head to toe.  Her style is not removable.

$7 each!

Who would NOT like some help in the kitchen?!!

These dish scrubbies can be a lot of help in the kitchen! They are washable, come in a set of three, and depending on the dish, should not scratch your dishes. They come in bright colors-brighter than they seem in the picture! They would also make a nice hostess gift.

$7 for a set of three.

Something Different . . .

This is a cute little monster that, as you can see, will sit perfectly on the edge of a table or desk. I made her recently but did her face today. The tassels on her ears may come off, but they will most likely stay on - only if handled very roughly around her ears or if she gets squished in a tight place might they come off.  Little Scamp (as I think of her in my head) is already made and will be available to the first person who claims her for $20.

If she is bought soon enough, I would like to give 3/4 of the purchase price to join with a grownup friend of mine who is giving all her birthday money to pay for some surgeries for kids without parents in China.

My grandma and papa gave me and my sister a camera for Christmas, so I was experimenting today with taking my own pictures!  These are two of the pictures I took of Little Scamp.  :-)

Update 4/12/13: Little Scamp has been purchased!  Thanks to Luke for giving generously and helping me to give more than I expected!  Everybody has been suprising and inspiring me so much!

My first fundraiser - Purple Baby Hat!

This is a super soft baby girl hat in bright purple (the picture doesn't do it justice).  It's approximately 4.5 inches from crown to bottom and 13 inches in circumference.

Starting bid: $15

My first fundraiser - Chunky Brown Hat

My mom made this hat, which was, obviously, a little small for my brother and sister when she ran out of yarn.  But, if you have a little head that needs a hat and is somewhere between 1 and 4 years old, she is offering to make this hat for you in the size you can use!  It will be even more adorable with a big chunky button or something on the side!  This chunky brown yarn is super soft, full of fun flecks of different fibers, thick, and warm!

Starting bid: $15

My first fundraiser! - Pink Sparkle Hat

This great hat is made from super soft yarn with a sparkly shimmer to it.  Ultra girly, with a beautiful double flower.  As you can see, it fits me perfectly.  We'd say it fits approximately size 7 and up.

Starting bid $20 - just leave your bid in the comments!

My first fundraiser! - Newborn Newsboy/girl Hat

How sweet is this little Newsie Hat???  I helped my mom make this hat, actually.  She made it - but I helped her figure the pattern out.  We were hoping it would be a gift for my new cousin - but he was already too big for this one.  You can see a picture of him in his bigger one below!  We made him a new one - and we can say, now, that it's definitely a newborn size.  We can finish it off with a little strap across the front, if you want - or add a flower in the same or contrasting color, if your little newsie is a girl!  Would make a great baby (or Valentine) gift, either way!

Starting bid: $20.

My first fundraiser! - Washcloths Set

Set of two washcloths in the original Peaches and Cream yarn.  They are a soft 100% cotton in "camel" color.  :-)  As you can see, I almost ran out of yarn on the second one, but I managed to finish it - even if the edges are curling up a bit from my tight stitches!  But it has the same decorative pattern as the first, and they should both wash dishes beautifully.  My mom wants these, so I'm kind of waiting to see if she bids on them!

Starting bid: $5!

My first fundraiser! - Love Buds Doll

How cute is she??  This doll's clothing is made from some of my softest yarn - and in bright, fun colors.  I went all out for Tobi and Josiah and even made her a matching headband!  Her dress and headband are originals, because I made them up myself!  As with all my Love Buds, she is made completely by hand, is baby safe, and also fun for all ages.  Similar dolls on Etsy are priced between $35 and $75.

Starting bid: $30!

My first fundraiser! (details HERE)

My dear friends and supporters,

I now ask you to support not me, but a friend of my mom's, Angel Q.  Her family is raising the last money they need to bring home two little boys, Tobi and Josiah.  You can see pictures and read their stories here.  We have been praying for them, and I am excited about doing a fundraiser to help them. I will be posting some crochet items on my blog and selling them in an auction. In the comments on each item's post, you can make your bid and see the bids of others.  If you cannot or do not wish to comment, you can simply message me via my facebook page, and we will update the bid for you.  Because it is a fundraiser for a great cause, I will be offering a starting bid suggestion, based on similar items on etsy.  All auction items will be open for bidding until Friday, February 15, 2013.  All money received from the auction will be going directly toward Tobi and Josiah's expenses in getting to their new home and forever family!  If you would like to help this family and receive a great crochet item in return, I invite you to bid on whatever catches your eye. Your donation will make a difference!

Thanks!  I'm excited to see what we can do together!
